Description

The Blackbuck, aka Indian Antelope, is a majestic animal known for its unique features like its ringed horns, white fur on the chin, and its bold beautiful eyes.

In our design, The Blackbuck wrapped with the Murali (Lycium Barbarum or the Matrimony Vine) plant, in bright morning colours. The Blackbuck is filled in a shade of pastel chartreuse, while the Murali is painted in a bright hue of orange.

Process: A combination of dainty and sizeable motifs are printed on plain white fabric using wooden hand blocks by the local artisans of Jaipur. The printed piece of fabric is then hand-stitched together with two layers of fine muslin on the top and bottom.
