ANAK CREATIONS (Registered Company) is an Institution of creative textiles. Its a brand that caters to all things fabric !
The journey of the Company started in November 2019, with a team of two, my mother and I.
The word ANAK is a combination of the first two letters of the owners/ siblings – Anirudh and Akriti.
When we started working on the business, we would go to the remotest of areas, to look for artisans that would fit the expectations we had with the brand that we wish to create. As someone who has been surrounded by generations of experience in the Textile industry, I would say that I had a fair idea about ‘fabric’ in general but I had absolutely zero experience of the block-printing and home decor industry. To say that it was intimidating would be a understatement.
After pushing through the learning curve and incalculable mistakes, we finally got it together and launched the brand – PINAI – on paper in February 2020. Before we knew, we had the opportunity to reach our audience in person as an exhibitor for Lil Flea Delhi. Those were an incredible three days for PINAI and it was such an exhilarating experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
The word PINAI is a colloquial Hindi word that means – “Quilting of fabric by hand”
Since then, its been a journey that has taught us incomparable learnings and will continue to do so. From exhibitions, to hospitality projects, from personalised gifting to corporate gifting, from our houses’s basement to showcasing at Varnan; the experience only gets better.

We wish to create a brand that people can find in every corner of their houses. A brand that makes homes more functional, chic and organised.
